Our second meetup was hosted by Marvin Koppejan, founder of creative agency Woodwork Amsterdam. Organisers Pieter-Jan van Es and Mirjanne van Meijel gave the stage to Aranka van der Pol and Marieke van der Velden.

Aranka told us all about her project Lots of Lesvos, and Marieke showed her minidocumentary The Island of All Together.

There was laughter and a couple of tears. The audience was visibly moved by Marieke’s project. The Island of All Together is currently travelling the whole world, and is being picked up by the UN Headquarters and nobody less than Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay.
