Roia

ICT for good

Roia is an organisation active in Syria and Turkey. Their mission started out by providing IT infrastructure for activist groups in Syria and also an Emergency Medical System for the hospital in East Ghouta (the one from the documentary’The Cave’).

They currently set up training schools in Syria to provide people with IT skills that can help them to tap into the international labour market. After the training is completed, Roia helps them to find freelance jobs so they can put their training into paid practice. Also, Roia helps other NGO’s setting up their IT infrastructure.

Roia is our partner since 2020.
