'As a child of a father who had to flee his country and as a child of a mother who has worked for several years with refugee organisations, I have always had in the back of my mind to do something with this as well. Unfortunately, I had not yet had the time to commit to an organisation such as The Present.   Now that there is time to help, I hope that with my work experience I can contribute to the goals of the organisation. I love making new connections, working in a solution-oriented way and thinking creatively. I will take that with me and I hope to gain a lot of new knowledge as well. '
