Jan graduated as a drummer from the HermanBrood Academie in 2019. Throughout the years he has been part of variousprojects as a drummer, pianist/keys, and bass player. Since 2016 he is part of‘The Hillbilly Moonshiners’.

In between playing big festival like ZwarteCross, Pinkpop and Sziget Jan had a bit of time left. He saw TP’s call for a‘pitcher’ for Thaki – someone who visits businesses and corporates to tell themwhy they should donate their redundant laptops to Thaki’s project. The matchwas made straightaway and now Jan is working for Thaki.

In Jan’s words: ‘Education is not only afundamental part of our society, it is also something that everybody has theright to. And I want to fight for that.’
