Lucas Dols

Sounds of Change

Lucas Dols is a musician. Bass player. He has played with, amongst others, Room Eleven, the Metropole Orchestra, Orkater, Yuri Honing, Bram van der Vlugt & Co and Miss Molly and Me.

Lucas currently leads workshops; he trains volunteers, social workers, teachers, psychologists and musicians who work, or want to work, with children in refugee camps and conflict zones. He trains the musicians through his organisation Sounds of Change, which he founded in 2016. He has facilitated workshops in Lebanon, India, Jordan and Ukraine.

Being a social entrepreneur, Lucas works with NGOs such as Musicians without Borders, Syrious Mission, Basmeh & Zeitooneh, Chance to Dance, Warchild and Amnesty International.

Lucas is now also a Present Mover. During his meetup he blew everyone away – with a double bass!
