Marieke is a documentary photographer, with an impressive track record. She has seen much of the world through her lens and has completed projects in, amongst others, Afghanistan, Mozambique, Burkina Faso, India, Joran, Niger, Iraq and Colombia. Marieke headlined meetup 2, where she showed the moving mini-documentary called The Island of All Together which she created together with her husband Philip Brink. In this documentary Marieke put holidaymakers and refugees next to each other, to ask each other questions about life.
