This is Diederick. Diederick was only 23 years old when he founded non-profit organisation Forward Incubator (previously Refugees Forward). This organisation enables new arrivals to start, finance and expand their own businesses.

As an International Relations student he was always interested in refugees and the underlying political complexity of the crisis. In conjunction with his International Management studies this led to the idea behind Forward Incubator.

Diederick believes that integration of newcomers starts with economic independence. Through an incubator program and a network of smaller and larger companies and experienced entrepreneurs and students, Forward Incubator helps new arrivals from all over the world set up their own businesses.

Our tenth meetup was centred around Diederickand his foundation. That afternoon a promising seed was sown, as today Diederick is partner of the The Present Movement. Let’s move forward!
