This is an exciting time to be joining Happy Caravan as Fundraising Manager. We are a grass-roots organisation that operate two classrooms and an Online School in refugee camps on mainlandGreece.
We are looking for an experienced Fundraising Manager to join our friendly international team and take the lead on creating and implementing a dynamic two-year fundraising strategy for theorganisation.
This is a highly autonomous role and it is expected you will work remotely with occasional travel to Greece and the Netherlands (approx. 1-2 times per year). We are happy for you to set your own, flexible working hours and fit this role around other commitments.
The Fundraising Manager will create and deliver a new fundraising strategy to bring in new income from all areas; individuals, community, virtual events and corporate fundraising.
You will lead on the growth of a donor acquisition and retention, helping us to attract new, committed supporters and to be responsible for the delivery of specific agreed fundraising targets circa 200,000 EUR.
You will also be responsible for ‘donorcare’ in order to increase our number of loyal, committed supporters who share our passion for making a difference to the lives of young refugees and asylumseekers.
We will require regular fundraising and donor reports, as well as strategic planning and ability to bid to the Board for budget when required.
You will take the lead on developing our Virtual Volunteer Programme, supporting the recruitment of volunteers and managing the weekly meetings of the team.
There will be other adhoc duties also, such as supporting the social media team with content relating to donors and sponsors. Also working with the Finance Assistant to contribute to annual reports.

You will bring enthusiasm, ambition and the ability to work autonomously and remotely with an international team.
