During our meetup on the 20th of March 2018, Julius Weise of Blendin Foundation was our main act. This foundation stimulates friendships between newcomers and locals, via an online platform and by organising events.

Julius told his personal story and how Blendin originated. He closed off with two questions for the audience: how can Blendin support itself in the long run, and in which way should Blendin measure its impact?

In groups there was a short brainstorm about the best solutions, after which every group presented a pitch. The winner was offered a night at the Movement Hotel in the former Bijlmer prison.
